The Best of Clickbank came about as I was looking for the best and easiest way to make money from promoting Clickbank products.
I’d previously had some success using CB Mall and from various Clickbank products that I promoted as an affiliate. But, as I was researching for a program to promote that taught the best way to make an online income using Clickbank products I found that there was an enormous amount of rubbish being sold as the “magic pill”.

You know the rubbish – “overnight millions” – “no work required” etc etc and then you find great gobs of information missing from the over-priced e-book.
I bought into several programs to check them out and as usual was horrified at the complete and utter lack of service and total disdain with which many of these guys treat you after you’ve paid your money.
Now Clickbank products are indeed a great way to make money online. There’s no need to create a product yourself, no sales page to write, no download issues, no payment processing – you just get a link and promote it. When someone buys you get a commissions paid into your Clickbank account.
Sounds so easy anyone could do it!
Well, that’s true but there are some issues with that:
1 If you are just promoting a link with no website (read squeeze page) of your own then you are not building a list
2 You need to work out how to get traffic to your link or how to promote it without looking desperate
3 You need to review a load of products (ie buy them first) to ensure you are promoting something worthwhile
So I got to thinking that I should put up a “Best of Clickbank” site where I would review or at least comment on the products that I’ve used myself and those that I think are worthy of promoting either as ways of making money on Clickbank or products that will be of value to specific niches.
I have no intention of this site becoming either a blatant promotion of hundreds of products nor a whingeing, complaining about a product forum.
I will promote products that are worthy and I will highlight any I particularly dislike (when I’ll also explain why) but it will be done in the style of “critique” rather than “guru bashing”.
Just so you know, if you decide to purchase any of the products that I mention it is likely I’ll receive a commission but it will have no bearing on the price which will be the same even if you found the site direct. 
My current best of Clickbank product for anyone just starting out and needing everything done for you is Clickbank Pirate.
Thanks for your insight on affiliate marketing. I have a few tips of my own to offer. First, realize this is not an overnight business. It might take a few months after you start for the real income to start flowing in, especially when using whitehat methods such as SEO to bring in traffic. Second, resist the urge to promote every single cool looking offer or brand new product you find. It is better to focus on one product or service at a time, researching and finding everything you can about thet product or service, and throwing everything you can at the promotion of that product. Once promotion of a particular product or service is bringing in steady income for you, then you can consider promoting another product. Third, it is very important that you research and create a business plan before you start, and then always stick with that plan while you work. Affiliate marketing takes work, but if done correctly, everyone can make some money.
